The Marlborough Board of Education heard a presentation of the Marlborough School District Superintendent Search Leadership Profile from CABE search consultant Dr. Mary Broderick at a special meeting July 9 in the Elmer Thienes-Mary Hall Elementary School library annex.
Dr. Mary Broderick, CABE search consultant, distributed hard copies of the Leadership Profile to board members and said the report was developed using input from multiple community and staff focus groups and an online survey completed by school staff and community members. She told the board that participation in the focus groups was limited, and that the online survey provided additional community and staff input incorporated into the profile.
Broderick said the Leadership Profile will be posted on the Marlborough School District website under the District tab in the Superintendent Search section for public access. The minutes record no vote or formal action on the profile itself at the meeting.
Chip Morris, chairperson, presided over the meeting. The minutes list board members Amy Kuhrt, Louise Concodello, William Guzman, Linda Earley, Jean Wilson and Jamie Smigel as present. The public-comment period was recorded as having no speakers.
Jean Wilson moved to adjourn at 6:46 p.m.; Amy Kuhrt seconded and the motion was recorded as unanimously approved. The meeting minutes were submitted by Carmela Monte.
