Wakefield committee readies Fix‑It Clinic and Aug. 29 sports‑equipment swap; Town Day outreach planned

The Fix‑It Clinic is scheduled for Sunday (initially announced as 12–3; volunteers later clarified it would run with participants expected during the midday window). The sports‑equipment swap is scheduled for Aug. 29 at the space next to the farmers market; committee members corrected the start time to 9 a.m. and agreed the swap will run until noon. Maya will help produce a flyer, and members discussed accepting donations for the first hour to allow swapping afterward.

Members talked through promotional logistics: when and where to post flyers (Jen handles the town kiosk with advance deadlines), outreach to recreational team contacts (Dan McGrath was suggested as a contact), and whether to allow late drop-offs.
