Committee approves variances, vouchers; schedules next meetings

The Sheboygan County Planning, Resources, Agriculture & Extension Committee met Feb. 11 at the UW-Extension Office and handled routine business including departmental reports, variance approvals, and scheduling.

Supervisor John Nelson moved and Supervisor Joe Liebau Jr. seconded approval of the Register of Deeds fourth-quarter variance; the motion carried with no opposition. Supervisor Stan Lammers moved and Supervisor Joe Liebau Jr. seconded approval of the Planning & Conservation fourth-quarter variance; the motion carried with no opposition. Supervisor Stan Lammers moved and Supervisor John Nelson seconded release of the 2025 Stewardship Grant application; the motion carried with no opposition. Supervisors approved vouchers on the motion of John Nelson and second of Stan Lammers; the motion carried with no opposition. Supervisor Stan Lammers moved to adjourn, Supervisor John Nelson seconded, and the meeting adjourned at 4:19 PM.

The committee noted no requests for attendance at other meetings/functions and no travel reports. It scheduled a UW Extension-focused meeting for Feb. 25, 2025 at 3:30 PM and a Planning & Conservation-focused meeting for March 11, 2025 at 3:30 PM.
