Land trust coordinates volunteers, swag and outreach for midsummer festival

Christine, who circulated the volunteer sign-up sheet, updated the group on staffing for the upcoming midsummer festival and asked members to fill morning and afternoon slots. She said the sheet should auto-update and offered to add members who could not access it.

The group agreed to reuse posters and educational displays from previous years, prepare safety whistles for children (Christine said she could order more if supplies were short), and pursue small giveaways such as hats or ice-cream coupons for bingo winners. Members discussed logistics for setup and breakdown; volunteers will do a Friday-night setup when possible to ease Saturday's work.

The trust also planned to request a few tables from the association for on-site use and to coordinate exact booth placement with event organizers. The volunteer coordinator said she already has several volunteers confirmed and asked for additional help with setup and breakdown.
