Sudbury Transportation Commission reviews FlashVote survey, Catch Connect usage and outreach plans

At its March 6 meeting the Sudbury Transportation Commission reviewed outstanding action items from the February 6 meeting and assigned follow-ups for town staff and members.

Alice Sapienza reported she sent a draft FlashVote survey to Adam Burney, Nickole Boardman and Dan Carty, and said she had incorporated the programs goals into the questions. Burney and Sapienza agreed to finalize the survey and send it to Town staff Leila Frank for distribution. The Commission recorded this as an action for Burney and Sapienza.

Sapienza also noted that Catch Connect had picked up riders at Cold Brook Crossing, and Chair Carty said the Commission could help Cold Brook Crossing increase shuttle utilization to train stations. Adam Burney reported the first half of the Catch Connect bill has been paid and said he would follow up on a state earmark.

Administrative items included Commission participation in a local health fair (Dan Carty to staff the table), Burneys new role as Sudbury representative to the Minuteman Advisory Group on Interlocal Coordination (MAGIC), and scheduling for upcoming community meetings. The Commission approved edited minutes from January 9, 2026, and scheduled review of February 6 minutes at the next meeting.

The meeting concluded with assignment of several action items (including verification information for Uber, IT coordination with Town staff Mark Thompson, and follow-up on the earmark) and adjourned at 11:42 a.m.
