At its Jan. 19 meeting the Salisbury Planning Board approved amendments to the town's Site Plan Review Regulations to align portions of the code with Federal Emergency Management Agency requirements, Town Administrator April Rollins told the board.
Rollins presented the proposed edits as contained on pages 21 and 22 of the meeting packet. Jeff Nangle moved to adopt the changes; David Kelly seconded, and the motion passed with none opposed. The minutes record the motion as passing unopposed.
Earlier in the meeting the board approved draft minutes from Dec. 1, 2025 with one correction to Chair Schmidl's name; that motion was made by Nangle and seconded by Kelly and recorded as passing with no opposition. The board adjourned at 8:08 p.m. after a motion by Nangle and second by Kelly.
The amendments were presented as administrative updates to conform local site‑plan review procedures with FEMA requirements; the minutes do not list the ordinance language changed or cite a specific FEMA regulation, only the pages of the packet where edits appear. Any permit applicants affected by the changes should consult the revised Site Plan Review Regulations for details.
