Union County approves ASTECH change order and $605,778.29 contractor payment for micro‑surfacing project

The Union County Board of Commissioners on July 7 approved Change Order No. 1 and a final contractor payment for the county's 2026 micro‑surfacing project with ASTECH Corp.

On a motion by Commissioner Kimmel, seconded by Commissioner Ballard, the board approved a net change order of $10,340.76 that adjusted quantities for asphalt emulsion, mineral aggregate and pavement‑marking paint.
