Pam, who was introduced by council members and identified during the meeting as a former mayor, said housing development was her top priority. “My top one would be housing… the city currently owns 13 or 14 acres south of town. I would want to work hand in hand in getting that developed,” she said.
Eric Jones introduced himself as a high school teacher and coach who has lived in the community for about eight years. Jones said he would emphasize economic development and affordable housing and noted experience on a high-school building leadership team and a history of community service.
Council confirmed the appointment will be made at the next meeting on July 21; council asked staff to ensure all candidate materials remain accessible in the Dropbox. No appointment was made at this meeting.
