The Allamakee County Board of Supervisors on July 6 approved the day’s agenda and the minutes from June 29 and June 30, 2026, accepted a Planning & Zoning quarterly report and renewed a liquor license for the Allamakee County Conservation Foundation.
The meeting was called to order by Chair Tom Clark. Supervisor Keatley moved and Supervisor Byrnes seconded Motion 26.242 to approve the agenda and the June 29 and 30 minutes; the motion carried with all supervisors recorded as voting "AYE."
During the public-comment portion, Supervisor Byrnes reported on participation in the Harpers Ferry Firecracker 5K, and Auditor Denise Beyer reported that the federal Payments In Lieu of Taxes (PILT) payment for 2026 is $23,083. Shortly thereafter Supervisor Byrnes moved and Supervisor Keatley seconded Motion 26.243 to accept and place on file the Planning & Zoning quarterly report; that motion carried unanimously.
Supervisor Keatley moved and Supervisor Byrnes seconded Motion 26.244 to approve the liquor license renewal for the Allamakee County Conservation Foundation; the motion carried with all supervisors voting AYE.
The meeting concluded with Motion 26.245 to adjourn, moved by Byrnes and seconded by Keatley; the motion carried. The minutes are attested by Tom Clark, Chairperson, and Denise Beyer, Auditor.
