Chesterfield Selectboard holds non-public session on personnel matter; report expected next week

The Chesterfield Selectboard entered a non-public session at its Feb. 22 working meeting under RSA 91-A:3, II(a), the personnel exception, to discuss an employee matter. The Non-Public #1 minutes state that Lance Rouse discussed an employee issue with the board and that a full report will be submitted next week for the board to review.

According to the public minutes, Selectboard member Gary Winn moved to go into Non-Public #1 under RSA 91-A:3, II(a) at 3:28 p.m.; the motion was seconded by Fran Shippee and passed unanimously. The Non-Public #1 minutes list the same attendees and record that the motion to come out of non-public was made later in the meeting and also passed unanimously. The public minutes show an exit time of 4:58 p.m.; the Non-Public #1 minutes state the motion to come out occurred at 5:00 p.m.

The minutes do not disclose substantive details of the personnel matter. They state only that a full report will be submitted next week for board review. The Selectboard then reconvened in public and adjourned at 5:15 p.m.
