The Village of Antioch Board of Trustees voted Monday to approve multiple ordinances and contracts and authorized the payment of $500,972.28 in accounts payable.
At the start of the meeting Mayor Gertner called the roll and the board approved the consent agenda after Trustee (S5) asked to remove one item. The board approved ordinances amending sections of the Antioch Village Code related to EMB side boards, signage standards and taverns/brewpubs, and it approved an ordinance granting a flagpole easement to Command Services at the corner of Depot adjacent to the park.
The board also adopted a resolution authorizing purchase of services from Per Mar Security Services for Sequoia Creek Park and granted a Class A full-service restaurant license to Bless Your Heart LLC at 480 Orchard Street after the owners confirmed a corporate-structure and name change. The board approved accounts payable in the amount of $500,972.28 by roll call.
A separate committee-of-the-whole session approved the committee minutes from June 24. The board discussed a library request to update codified impact fees and agreed to move that ordinance to the next regular meeting for final action.
The board ended its public meetings by voting unanimously to enter executive session for pending or imminent litigation under the statutory citation read on the record.
The actions taken Monday are procedural approvals and contract authorizations; individual items that require ordinance changes or funding will return for any required subsequent hearings or final readings.
