North Little Rock’s Old Main to be renovated; district offering memorabilia event

Voters approved a three-project millage that includes renovation of Old Main, a landmark building built in 1930 in North Little Rock, the broadcast reported.

The school district plans to move its center of excellence, a public charter program, into the renovated building. Officials said crews need to clear items the building will not reuse; to that end, the district will open Old Main from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday and accept electronic donations to the building fund in exchange for desks, chairs, bookshelves, podiums and other memorabilia.
