Putnam Valley board approves routine personnel and payment items, appoints seasonal beach monitor and holds executive session

The Putnam Valley Town Board handled several routine personnel and financial items, approving payments, appointments, salary listings and administrative reports before moving into an executive session on personnel matters and adjourning.

Items approved included authorizing payment to James Russo (materials request lists $150 for beach setup at Lookout Manor and $250 for beach setup and removal of weeds at Bargar Pond), and appointing Gregory Skibior as a Lake Peekskill Improvement District beach monitor for the 2026 season at $16.50 per hour with no benefits, effective July 1 through Labor Day (Sept. 7).
