The Kenosha Committee on Public Works approved three separate event permits on July 6: a plaza party presented by Kenosha Tap House on July 30, a Boosted Warehouse car show (requesting closure of 31st Street between 14th Avenue and Sheridan Road) and the Outreach for Oath run/walk scheduled for Sept. 26, 2026.
Sarah Ocats of 2819 22nd Place, representing the Kenosha Tap House event "Camosha," said the program spotlights local artists and musicians and answered committee questions. Organizers for the Boosted Warehouse car show and Outreach for Oath were present; a resident, Walter Shaile, praised the events and noted prior parking and driveway-access issues had been addressed by granting residents notice and arranging towing where necessary.
The committee moved to approve items 3, 4 and 5 (the Tap House event and the two street-use requests) and voted in favor by voice vote.
