The Audit Advisory Committee elected new leadership during its July 9 meeting.
Elena McFann received a majority in the roll call for chair after being nominated and was congratulated by committee members. The chair‑elect thanked colleagues: “I’m humbled,” McFann said after the vote.
The committee also elected Daniel Castholm as vice chair by roll call; the clerk announced there were four votes in favor and Daniel was congratulated on his selection.
Both leadership changes were handled by nomination and roll‑call voting in accordance with the committee’s annual practice to select a chair and vice chair. Members agreed the outgoing chair (Siegel) would cover duties at an upcoming July 13 council workshop if needed.
The committee did not alter any standing committee responsibilities during the leadership transition and expects the new officers to support the post‑audit council workshop and the committee’s corrective‑action follow up.
