Summit Carbon Solutions reps, highway superintendent request future briefings during public comment

During the public-comment portion of the July 7 meeting, Brent Neise and Carson Schultz of Summit Carbon Solutions introduced their company and indicated a willingness to meet with the Kearney County Board at a future date to discuss their work.

Earlier in the public-comment window Highway Superintendent Joe Anderson told commissioners that a Sourcewell representative might meet with the board to explain Sourcewell’s cooperative procurement services. The minutes record these items as public comment; no formal meeting was scheduled or action taken at the session.

The minutes do not provide additional detail on Summit Carbon Solutions’ proposal, the scope of any requested presentation, or what services Sourcewell would describe. No board commitments or votes were recorded.
