Kearney County commissioners approve minutes, payroll, claims and fee reports; bills totals recorded

The Kearney County Board of Commissioners approved routine administrative items July 7, including the minutes of the June 16 meeting, June payroll, claims and hospital taxes, and the County Clerk and Clerk of District Court fee reports for June 2026.

The published minutes include detailed claims lists by fund. For example, the General Fund lists a total of $417,238.16 (SEG 002), the Road and Bridge Fund lists a total of $232,788.89 (SEG 004), and other smaller fund totals appear in the record. The minutes also show a $55,000 transfer to the Road & Bridge Fund and a $78,255 NIRMA insurance payment recorded in the General Fund claims.
