Commission approves admonishments in two judicial-conduct cases

Judge Christian Hedin, chair of the Washington State Commission on Judicial Conduct, told the commission it approved a stipulation agreement and order of admonishment this morning in case number 13555, In re Jennifer Fassbender, judge of the Spokane County District Court. He said Judge Fassbender was not required to be present for entry of the stipulation.

The commission also approved a corrected stipulation agreement and order of admonishment in case number 13527 involving Lynn K. Fleischwein, a commissioner of the Kitsap County Superior Court. A staff member alerted the commission that a certificate of completion should be entered; the chair confirmed the commission approved the certificate, which certifies that Judge Fleischwein completed the requirements set by the order of admonishment.
