Otis board appoints Shane Hope (per diem) and names Laurie McArthur assistant collector

Chair Gary Thomas called the Town of Otis Select Board and Finance Committee to order on March 6, 2026, at 9:07 a.m. in the Town Hall Conference Room. The board unanimously appointed Shane Hope to a per-diem position after adding the appointment to the amended agenda. The board also appointed Laurie McArthur to serve as Assistant Collector.

Both appointments were recorded by the board during the meeting; the minutes state there was agreement on the Shane Hope appointment and that Laurie McArthur was appointed, with no dissent noted. The minutes do not record a mover, a seconder, or individual roll-call votes for either appointment.
