Boaz Saddle Club cleared to hold 11 Gymkhana shows and receive temporary alcohol permits

The Boaz Board of Trustees reviewed paperwork from the Boaz Saddle Club and approved both the club’s request to schedule 11 Gymkhana horse shows and the club’s request for temporary alcohol beverage licenses for those events after reviewing required documentation, background checks and a certificate of insurance for liquor liability.

Trustee Kathy Hansen moved to approve the schedule of 11 horse shows; Trustee Judy Adrian seconded and the motion carried. The board then approved the temporary alcohol licenses (motion by Trustee Adrian, seconded by Trustee Hansen). No vote tallies were recorded in the minutes beyond “motion carried.”
