Jonesboro committee forwards ordinance to update stormwater permit to full council

The Jonesboro Public Works Committee on April 7 recommended that the full City Council consider Ordinance 26-020, an amendment to Appendix 7 of the city’s stormwater drainage design manual that would replace the manual’s existing ADEQ permit (ARR150000) with an updated permit.

The committee’s chair introduced the ordinance, saying the stormwater drainage design manual was originally adopted by the city council on Dec. 18, 2008 (Ordinance 08099) and that the current Appendix 7 ADEQ permit number ARR150000 will expire on Oct. 31, 2026.
