Utility board approves up to $11.77 million Northeast Waterline Improvements contract

The Weatherford Municipal Utility Board voted to authorize the city manager to execute a construction contract with RNO Construction for the Northeast Waterline Improvements Project, a contract listed on the agenda at "not to exceed $11,770,954." Matt Leppla, who introduced the item, said the project replaces frequent-break, undersized and aging pipe in the city’s northeast area and along Old Dicey Road.
