Votes at a glance: Marshall County Fiscal Court approves LAR agreement, grant application, transfers and routine business

The Marshall County Fiscal Court recorded the following formal actions at its July 2 special meeting:

- Approved minutes from June 20 and June 22 meetings (motion carried).
- Authorized signing the LAR grant agreement to bring $413,000 for paving Big Bear Highway (motion carried).
- Authorized staff to apply for and sign documents for a FEMA/Coast Guard Port Security Grant to pursue an underwater drone (motion carried).

Two ordinances received first readings at the meeting (Ordinance 2026-05, the budget amendment, and Ordinance 2026-06, the administrative-code amendment); neither ordinance was adopted at this meeting.
