The Selectmen approved an arrangement that expands public kayak-launch access at Webb's Cove after the landowner (identified as the Ramos family in Selectmen notes) agreed to let the town use additional space near the tin-building launch.
Town Manager Billings said the Ramoses granted permission to use the south end of Webb's Cove in addition to the existing tin-building launch site. She said she would contact surveyor Linda Campbell to verify property lines and marker flags before finalizing the access plan.
Selectman John Robbins offered volunteer help with cleanup and site preparation; the board discussed the need for signage, gates and possibly a porta-potty if the site sees sustained public use. The Harbor Committee and clam committee volunteer involvement were suggested to monitor and maintain the site.
Next steps: the town manager will confirm survey lines, coordinate volunteer cleanup and prepare signage and ground rules for the expanded launch area.
