Board approves change-of-ownership dock permit for 721 Court Dover Road

The Fort Lauderdale Marine Advisory Board approved a request to transfer an existing dock permit for 721 Court Dover Road to new owners Jeffrey and Courtney Burns. Ted Bone presented the application and confirmed the dock was previously approved in 2021/22 and that no site modifications or vessel-size changes were requested.

Board members asked whether the permit remains attached to city-owned Cordova property; staff confirmed the permit remains active and that the new owner submitted the application and paid required fees. Dr. Robotsky moved to accept the change of ownership and Tyler Bernell seconded; the board took a roll-call vote and the motion passed.

The approval preserves the existing permit conditions and allows the new owners to proceed under the previously approved plans. Staff will process the administrative change and update permit records.
