Design panel endorses three new signs for M&H/Superior Stockyard, confirms height under 12-foot zoning limit

Kristine Braccidiferro of Sign Pro Inc. presented three signs for the M&H/Superior Stockyard properties at 103 Thomaston Road and 7 Iffland Pond Road following a change in ownership. The committee recorded the proposed panel sign would replace an existing panel, that additional signs would appear on storage structures, and that a panel in the west corner of the property would match the existing size and location.

Committee members said the proposed design was substantially more attractive than the existing sign, that posts would be painted, existing top-corner lighting removed, and landscaping proposed beneath the main sign. The minutes explicitly note the height was not stated on the application but the committee confirmed the sign does not exceed the 12-foot limit in the zoning regulations. W. Westcott moved and B. Seamans seconded a favorable recommendation for the three signs; the motion carried unanimously.
