At the June 29 meeting the Dover Planning Board reappointed four members to the town’s Tree Preservation Committee (Valin, Janet Bowser, Jean Lukinda and Jay Crocker) to two‑year terms ending June 30, 2028, and agreed to post two open seats for volunteers.
Town planner Melissa updated the board on work by a newly formed sidewalk/pedestrian committee that is developing an objective rating system to prioritize sidewalk investments (with an emphasis on school access and town‑center connections). She and other board members also reviewed housing‑task‑force outreach: a second public forum and an upcoming survey aimed at identifying parcels and community preferences for multifamily housing; board members noted wastewater/water constraints and referenced Aquarian’s recent presentation on potential water solutions.
Christine Brown circulated draft minutes from the June 1 meeting; the board approved those minutes by roll call. The board adjourned at 8:46 p.m.
