The Fraser Board of Education on July 14 authorized payments totaling $6,874,914.85 and approved personnel actions including retirements and resignations.
Rebecca Jensen moved that the treasurer of Fraser Public Schools be authorized to draw the listed sums to pay district bills. The board approved: General Fund $3,873,801.12; Food Service Fund $248,284.33; Student/School Activities $12,472.65; Debt Retirement $500.00; Capital Projects Fund $2,739,856.75 — a total of $6,874,914.85. The motion passed with all trustees voting aye.
In human-resources business, the board approved retirements of Janine Millard-Nagy, teacher at Richards Middle School (effective June 30, 2025; district service since Aug. 31, 2010) and Daniel Scott, skilled maintenance (effective June 30, 2025; employed since Jan. 5, 1990). The board also accepted resignations of Kellie Boucher, food service at Fraser High School (effective July 2, 2025), and James Czarnik, health and physical education teacher at Richards Middle School (effective July 1, 2025). Motions for personnel actions were moved and supported by board members and passed unanimously.
The board also approved corrections to minutes for the Budget Hearing, the Regular Meeting and a Special Meeting of June 23, 2025 through a series of unanimous votes.
