The Fraser Board of Education voted unanimously on Sept. 22, 2025, to convene a closed session to discuss negotiations under the Open Meetings Act, Section 8c. The motion, made by Todd Koch and supported by Abigail Wasil, was approved by roll call with all members recorded in favor.
Earlier in the meeting the Building and Site committee reported on facilities planning: bond-funded projects at the Operations & Maintenance and Transportation buildings are being pulled forward to reduce workload in summer 2027, and the committee discussed expanding the Dooley Center parking lot to accommodate increased enrollment at that facility. The committee report did not include cost estimates or timelines in the minutes; the committee indicated the adjustments are intended to balance workload and capacity needs.
A parent, Molly Magnotte, asked whether elementary meal order forms could be restored because students on later lunch shifts may lack some meal options, and inquired about posting board meeting agendas and minutes to the district website. The board recorded the question under citizen non-agenda comments; no formal motion followed in the minutes.
The meeting adjourned to closed session at 7:27 p.m., returned to open session at 8:04 p.m., and adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
