At its Dec. 15 regular meeting the Fraser Board of Education approved a slate of personnel actions, contracts and financial transactions.
Personnel moves approved included new hires (Elizabeth Hunter, Rebecca Overman, Kayla Rose), acceptance of the retirement of Anne Cook (effective Dec. 1, 2025), and resignations from Melissa Danis and Natalie Roper. The board authorized the superintendent to execute second-year probationary contracts for Sheila Doss and Heather Turner and approved tenure for Kaitlyn Pipp and Joshua Pulver. All personnel motions were moved, seconded and recorded as unanimous.
The board approved the purchase of one Kubota utility vehicle from Weingartz Supply Co. for $31,221.36 to support operations and maintenance work; that motion was moved by Trustee Abigail Wasil and supported by Treasurer Todd Burrows and carried unanimously.
On finances the board authorized payment of bills totaling $5,420,082.01 across funds: General Fund $4,687,146.34; Food Service Fund $243,480.68; Student Activities $23,724.79; Debt Retirement $575.00; Capital Projects 2023 $460,791.75; Capital Projects 2025 $4,363.45. The motion to authorize those disbursements was moved by Secretary Kathleen Moco, supported by Trustee Jamie Pietron, and recorded as "Ayes: All." The board also accepted and filed the financial report.
