Heath Select Board reviews town meeting warrant, recesses and later adjourns

Robyn Provost, chair of the Heath Select Board, called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. on May 9, 2026, at the Jacobs Road Municipal Center gym. Members Elissa Viarengo and William Emmet, Town Coordinator Mia Francesconi, and Town Counsel Mark Reich of KP Law were present.

The board reviewed the warrant for the upcoming Annual Town Meeting with Mark Reich, Esq., who attended as town counsel. The review was described as preparatory for the ensuing Annual Town Meeting and as covering items that could lead to Select Board votes if needed.

During the session, Select Board member Elissa Viarengo moved to recess the meeting at 9:00 a.m.; William Emmet seconded the motion. The board voted unanimously in favor, with the clerk recording the result as "Vote: Unanimous. Motion Carries: 3-0." Later in the day, at 12:25 p.m., Emmet moved to adjourn the Select Board meeting; Viarengo seconded, and the motion again carried unanimously, 3-0.

The board announced its next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. Respectfully submitted in the minutes was Mia Francesconi, Town Coordinator.
