Commissioner Eric Allen used his "inbox" segment to tell listeners how to get a direct response from his office: send an email only to the specific commissioner you want to reach rather than mass-copying multiple commissioners or staff. "If you are looking for a response from me, please only send the email to me to ensure we can efficiently and effectively address individual constituent needs," Allen said.
He explained his office treats messages where he is only CC'd as informational and will not reply to mass emails. Allen said that casework and email responses are prioritized for residents of District 2 and matters directly impacting the district; messages sent for purely informational reasons will be read but will not receive direct responses.
Allen also reminded listeners about public engagement opportunities for Cobb County's Comprehensive Plan 2050, announcing a listening session on July 7 and an online survey running throughout July. He encouraged residents to participate in shaping the county’s vision for the next 25 years.
Before signing off, Allen thanked community-development and park staff for organizing pop-up events and the county's America 250 celebration — citing a drone show as a highlight — and wished listeners a safe Independence Day weekend.
