Planning commission approves special exception for manufactured home at 308 Jeannie Lane

The Spalding County Planning and Appeals Commission approved Application 26‑07S, granting a special exception to allow a new manufactured home (approximately 1,500 square feet) on an AR‑1 parcel at 308 Jeannie Lane (parcel 20801092, 2.41 acres).

Miss Morales presented the staff report and recommended approval with integrated conditions, noting that several other mobile homes are already present in the surrounding neighborhood and that maps and assessments were provided for the commission’s review.

The public hearing for the item was opened and closed with no registered speakers. A motion to approve the special‑exception application, including staff recommendations, was seconded and carried with no opposition.

The commission’s approval includes the conditions recommended by staff; staff will finalize and record those conditions in the permit and applicant notification.
