Hartland trustees approve routine consent items; note Veterans Memorial dedication and staffing updates

The Hartland Township Board approved its consent agenda on April 21, 2026, covering payment of bills, post audit of disbursements and approval of minutes from the April 7 meeting. Clerk Ciofu noted two minor corrections to the draft minutes that were included in the board packet prior to the vote.

In board reports, Trustee Petrucci reminded residents the Veterans Memorial Dedication Day is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Trustee McMullen said the township communications postcard looked good and that she had placed hers on her refrigerator. Clerk Ciofu reported the township received more than 40 applications for a posted Receptionist position and more than 15 applications for the Clerk Assistant - Election position; phone interviews are planned next week with in-person interviews to follow.

The manager did not present a report because he was attending the Michigan Township Association conference. The board adjourned at 7:20 p.m.
