Treasurer Dale Marie Brubaker reported at the Dec. 5 meeting that the township's General Fund balance was $243,622.00 and the ARPA fund balance was $44,662.00. She said half of the roof replacement cost has been paid to Baker Boys Construction from ARPA funds.
Brubaker told the board there is one delinquent tax bill on a township-owned property on Blossom Road; Branch County encouraged the township to pay the tax due. To cover the cost, Brubaker recommended selling the township-owned property for $500. The minutes record this as a recommendation; no formal sale action was recorded that night.
Brubaker also asked for board approval to transfer the Perpetual Care CD from Huntington Bank to Kellogg Community Credit Union for a better interest rate; Supervisor Aaron Robbins gave board approval for the transfer.
Routine business motions to pay bills and to adjourn were made by Supervisor Robbins, seconded by Trustee Jeff Brott, and recorded as voted and passed. The meeting adjourned at 9:07 p.m.
