Victims allege cars stolen from Marriott valet; Little Rock police investigating

A family who asked not to be identified says their car, checked with the downtown Little Rock Marriott valet last month, was later found ditched on the roadside with all four tires stolen and the interior ransacked, prompting a police investigation into multiple similar incidents.

"All of -- the contents that were locked inside my center console were thrown," the family member said, describing damaged glove box and center-console areas and estimating the family's out-of-pocket costs — including insurance deductible and repairs — at about $15,000 to $16,000.

The family says they filed a police report alongside other victims who had cars stolen the same night. The family told THV 11 that PMC Valet Company, which provides valet services at the hotel, was linked to multiple reports; the family described "a million dollars in stolen property -- and -- vehicles," a figure THV 11 has not independently verified.

PMC has denied responsibility for the losses, the report says. THV 11 said it emailed Marriott and PMC multiple times over the past two weeks asking about the thefts and about safety procedures but had not received responses by the station's deadline.

Little Rock Police Department said the investigation remains active and issued safety guidance for visitors to hotels, restaurants and entertainment venues that offer valet or garage parking. The department urged people to remove valuables or keep them out of sight, secure keys and valet claim tickets, confirm the identity of attendants before handing over keys, choose well-lit parking areas when possible, and report suspicious behavior to police and businesses.

The station noted that PMC's website lists major hotel brands, including Marriott, Hilton and Hyatt, among its clients. THV 11 provided a hotline (501-590-4630) and an email (investigates@THV11.com) for viewers with tips or similar reports.

Little Rock police continue to investigate; THV 11 said it will update the story if the station receives responses from Marriott or PMC or if investigators disclose further details.
