TSKP presents two site layouts; Otis committee schedules First Glance for Oct. 16

Whit and the TSKP team presented two concept layouts for the proposed Otis Library building during the Otis Library Building Committee meeting on Thursday, Oct. 9, at the Selectboard Meeting Room in Otis Town Hall. Committee Chair Sue Brofman called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

The committee approved the minutes from its Sept. 18 meeting; the transcript records the approval but does not record who moved or seconded the motion or a roll-call vote. Whit and the TSKP team explained proposed placements of the building on the site and displayed two alternative site-layout options. Committee members asked questions and provided feedback; the TSKP presenters collected that input to inform further design work.

Adam and Steve joined the meeting by Zoom as representatives of Downes, and Whit and Yugon were present from TSKP. The group decided to hold a public "First Glance" presentation of the concepts on Oct. 16 at 6:00 p.m. at Otis Town Hall to share the proposed layouts more broadly and gather additional input.

Katelyn Chaffee, listed as the committee secretary, filed the meeting minutes as "Respectfully Submitted." The meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m. The committee scheduled its next meeting for Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 5:30 p.m. at the library.
