Broken Bow council approves sports-use license agreements with Ryan Hansen and Cosmos Swim Team

Broken Bow — The Broken Bow City Council unanimously approved two License & Management Agreements for use of municipal property for sports at a special meeting on June 12, 2020, then adjourned at 2:05 p.m.

Mayor Rod Sonnichsen called the meeting to order at 2:03 p.m. and confirmed that Councilmembers Holcomb, Miller, Myers and Schmidt were present. The council first approved a License & Management Agreement with Ryan Hansen and simultaneously adopted a standard License & Management Agreement form for other entities that may seek to use city property for sports. The motion to approve that agreement and adopt the form was moved by Councilmember Myers and seconded by Councilmember Holcomb; the roll-call vote was unanimous (aye: Holcomb, Schmidt, Miller, Myers; nays: none).

The council then approved a separate License & Management Agreement with the Broken Bow Cosmos Swim Team. That motion was moved by Councilmember Holcomb and seconded by Councilmember Miller; the roll-call vote was unanimous (aye: Schmidt, Myers, Holcomb, Miller; nays: none).

After completing the two approvals, Councilmember Schmidt moved to adjourn; Councilmember Myers seconded the motion and the council voted unanimously to adjourn at 2:05 p.m. The meeting notice had been posted in the Municipal Building, the Broken Bow Post Office and the Custer County Courthouse as required by law.
