Broken Bow council approves annual audit, consent agenda including $42,375.25 in bills

At its March 23 meeting, the Broken Bow City Council approved the annual audit for the fiscal year ending Sept. 30, 2020 following a presentation by Jeff Oeltjen of Dana F. Cole.

Councilmember Jacob Holcomb moved to accept the audit report and Larry Miller seconded; the motion passed on a roll call vote with Holcomb, Miller and David Schmidt voting aye.

Earlier in the meeting the council approved its consent agenda, which included approval of the March 9, 2021 minutes and payment of bills totaling $42,375.25. The minutes list vendors and selected line items including payroll-related EFTPS Online Payment of $16,465.18 and City of Broken Bow health insurance payment of $2,822.80 among other routine expenses.

The meeting record shows the council also approved the absence of Councilmember Chris Myers at the start of the meeting. The session adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
