Southampton Committee appoints alternate prosecutors, accepts OEM resignation and moves to closed session

At its April 2, 2018 budget workshop, the Southampton Township Committee took several formal actions recorded in the minutes.

Resolution No. 2018-42, appointing alternate municipal court prosecutors, was moved by Committeeman Mikulski and seconded by Deputy Mayor Raftery. On roll call, Committeeman Heston, Committeewoman Rossell, Committeeman Mikulski, Deputy Mayor Raftery and Mayor James F. Young, Sr. voted in the affirmative; the resolution passed.

The committee also accepted the resignation of Michael Rathjen from the Office of Emergency Management (OEM); the minutes record the acceptance but do not specify who moved or seconded the acceptance.

The governing body adopted Resolution No. 2018-43A to enter a closed executive session to discuss personnel matters exempt from public disclosure.
