Hotel representative credits Milpitas economic-development team for long-running business support

Alok Metha, a representative of the Best Western Plus Brookside Inn in Milpitas, told city meeting attendees that he located the hotel in Milpitas because "it's pretty much the hub in Silicon Valley." He said the city's position between major cities and corporations made Milpitas a strategic choice for the business.

Meth a credited the citys economic-development team and other municipal resources for making it "an easy process" to work with the city, saying those resources and ongoing cooperation have been important to the hotels operations. "They have incredible amount of resources including the economic development team," he said.

Meth a said the hotel has been operating in Milpitas for almost two decades and expressed gratitude for the citys support. "We've been operating for almost two decades now and wouldn't be happened or able to do that without the city and the backing of the good people here," he said.
