Mayor Tim joined city leaders and chamber representatives for a ribbon-cutting and grand opening of Gilded Vile Wellness at 917 North Highway 67, suite 104, in Florissant.
The mayor opened the event by welcoming the new small business to the city and introducing city officials in attendance, including Paul Maganelli, identified as council vice president, and Patrick Mke, identified as the city’s director of economic development. Jamie Jenkins of the chamber offered brief remarks and turned the program over to a Gilded Vile representative.
Amanda, representing Gilded Vile Wellness, described the clinic’s offerings: “we offer aesthetic services such as Botox type stuff, fillers, we do micro needling soon. We are just getting ready to announce IV hydration.” She also said the clinic provides B12 and lipo injections and is considering expansion into other injections and medical weight-loss services. Amanda provided the business’s website as www.thegildedvile.com and gave a contact number during remarks.
City leaders emphasized the ceremony as part of the city’s effort to welcome small businesses. Jenkins, speaking for the chamber, congratulated the operators and encouraged residents to stop by.
The grand opening celebration was described as running from 12 to 8 p.m., with two prize packages available for attendees to enter — including a Kate Spade purse and a Stanley cooler — plus product samples and “free snacks.” After the brief remarks, participants prepared for the ribbon-cutting.
No formal votes or city actions were taken at the event; the program consisted of ceremonial remarks, business introductions and public-facing event details.
