Benjamin Franklin historical-interpreter events scheduled across Beaufort County June 30–July 1

BCTV’s county bulletin listed a slate of public and private appearances by a Benjamin Franklin historical interpreter on June 30 and July 1 across Beaufort County.

On June 30 the bulletin cited a 9:00 a.m. donut event at the Liberty Oak in Harbortown (the on-air announcement referenced a $10 Harbortown gate fee), a 10:30 a.m. program at the University of South Carolina Beaufort’s Hilton Head Island campus, a 3:00 p.m. presentation at the Hilton Head Island Branch Library, and a 5:30 p.m. private beverage event.

Chambers Waterfront Park, a 4:00 p.m. performance at the University of South Carolina Beaufort Center for the Performing Arts, and a 6:15 p.m. ticketed conversation at St. Helena Anglican Church featuring local historians Dr. John Mardle and Dr. Larry Roland; performer Greg Robin Smith appears in character as Benjamin Franklin for the program "Ben Franklin Comes Alive."
