Upper Darby committee sends Policy 810 (transportation) to second reading to limit young students’ exposure to busy parking lots

The Upper Darby School District Finance & Operations Committee reviewed Policy 810 (transportation) and agreed to move the policy to second reading.

Committee discussion summarized a change in language related to allowable transportation zones intended to reduce situations where younger students would need to walk through busy shopping-center parking lots or intersections to reach school.
