Barren County Fiscal Court approves end‑of‑year invoices and road allocation, then adjourns

The Barren County Fiscal Court used its special-called meeting to clear several year‑end routine items before the fiscal year begins.

The court approved payment of a BG Uniforms invoice for $3,899.35 for the sheriff’s department after a motion by Magistrate Tim Durham and a second by Magistrate Marty Kinslow. It also approved a separate Galls invoice totaling $61 on a motion by Stinson and second by Magistrate Brad Gross.

Additionally, the court approved the 2026–2027 road co‑cost allocation (motion by Reddell, second by Botts) to ensure road budgets and shared cost arrangements are in place for the coming year.

Following those approvals the presiding officer made closing remarks about wrapping up the fiscal year, thanked colleagues, confirmed the next regular fiscal court meeting for July 7, 2026 and the court adjourned.
