The Milo City Council unanimously approved a FY2026 budget amendment and a separate resolution updating bank signatures during its Jan. 19 meeting at City Hall.
Mayor Hall opened a public hearing on the FY2026 budget amendment at 7:02 p.m. and invited public comment; no verbal or written comments were recorded. After closing the hearing, Councilmember Griggs moved and Councilmember Amsden seconded a motion to adopt Resolution 2026-07 approving the FY2026 city budget amendment and directing the city clerk to make the necessary filings; the motion passed with Amsden, Rasmussen, Rodgers, Griggs and Mason voting aye.
Earlier in the meeting the Council approved the consent agenda, which included all accounts payable for Jan. 6–19, 2026 totaling $4,998.73, the Jan. 5, 2026 meeting minutes, December 2025 city checking and utility billing reconciliation reports, and the December 2025 Warren County Sheriff’s Report. That motion was made by Councilmember Mason and seconded by Amsden and passed unanimously.
Under new business the Council approved Resolution 2026-06 to update bank signature authorizations; the motion was made by Amsden and seconded by Rodgers and carried by all present.
The meeting minutes record formal vote tallies as "Ayes: Amsden, Rasmussen, Rodgers, Griggs and Mason; Absent: none; Nays: none" for the motions described above. The council set its next regular meeting for Monday, Feb. 2, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall and adjourned at 7:55 p.m.
The Clerk is responsible for filing the adopted budget amendment as directed by the resolution.
