The Selectmen approved the town’s 2023 pier terms and conditions and separately authorized a $600 purchase to replace a donated safety pump that is no longer usable.
On Dec. 19 the board voted unanimously to adopt the pier terms for the coming year and approved the small equipment purchase after the Harbor Committee reported the donated pump was unusable. The board also discussed appointing Matt Betts as the local plumbing inspector (LPI); TM Billings said she was working with state plumbing inspectors to secure a waiver so Betts could attend required training and noted a possible alternate if needed.
The board handled routine business as well, including weekly warrants and minutes approvals, and directed TM Billings to follow up on scheduling and appointment paperwork. A separate transfer‑station item recorded a split vote to sell six granite blocks stored at the dump for $25, with one member voting no and one abstention.
