The Little Falls Township Council on June 22 opened the public hearing on the 2026 municipal budget and closed it after no members of the public signed up to speak.
Council President Scobler moved to open the hearing on the 2026 municipal budget; the motion carried. After a brief opportunity for public comment in which no one came forward, Councilmember Urvin Patel moved to close the public portion of the hearing; that motion also carried.
The council approved minutes from its May 18 and June 8 meetings after motions were made, seconded and roll-call votes recorded.
Later in the meeting the council moved to adopt resolutions B through H by omnibus motion. The clerk called the roll and votes to adopt those resolutions were recorded as affirmative for the members present.
Resolution A was considered separately. During the roll-call vote on Resolution A, Councilmember Patel voted “No.” Councilmember Havelitz, Councilman Vancheri and Council President Scobler voted “Yes,” producing a 3–1 recorded outcome in favor of the resolution.
No further details about the substance of resolutions A–H were provided on the record during the meeting; where specific resolution titles or text were not read aloud, the clerk recorded procedural adoption. The meeting record notes that adequate public notice was provided under NJSA 10:4-8 and NJSA 10:4-10 and that virtual participation was available via littlefallsnj.gov.
The meeting adjourned following the scheduled business.
