Harwich Real Estate & Open Space Committee approves minutes, affirms officers

The Harwich Real Estate & Open Space Committee on June 26 approved its April 17 minutes after correcting the name of the Affordable Housing Trust and unanimously affirmed a slate of officers for the coming year.

A member raised that the minutes had misidentified the Affordable Housing Trust; members agreed to correct the wording to Harwich Affordable Housing Trust (AHT) before final filing with the town clerk. The committee then moved to approve both the regular and executive session minutes from April 17, 2026 and confirmed approval by unanimous consent.

Later in the meeting the chair nominated a slate of officers: Dave Callahan as chair, Kathy Green as vice chair and Carol Porter as clerk. A member seconded the nomination and the committee recorded unanimous agreement to continue the leadership for another year.

The committee noted procedural next steps: Carol Porter will notify the town clerk of the officers and will circulate the corrected minutes for filing. The group confirmed its next full meeting for mid‑July (tentatively July 17) and adjourned by unanimous voice vote.
