Pike County approves $73,450 match request as part of HB500 grant application for Wolf Pit Industrial Park

Pike County Fiscal Court voted to adopt a resolution authorizing submission of a House Bill 500 grant application for up to $73,450 in Local Government Economic Development Fund (LGEDF) single-county funds. The money is intended to serve as the local match required for a Kentucky Product Development Initiative grant for the Wolf Pit Industrial Park.

The court authorized the judge to execute documents necessary for the application and to serve as authorized correspondent. County staff (Sharon was identified as preparing application paperwork) were assigned to prepare the submission. The judge said the county had previously approved similar money under a different bill but had not used it, so the county was reapplying for the match.
